Beneple HR – HR SaaS Platform

A strategic consulting engagement where I launched Beneple HR, ran full competitor and P&L analyses, proposed viable product solutions, and delivered a complete V2 roadmap for the technical team to build the next evolution of the HR platform.

Beneple HR: Consulting, Launching, and Strategizing the Next Generation of HR + InsurTech

Beneple HR was a project where I stepped in not as a traditional product manager, but as a strategic consultant responsible for reshaping the product’s future. The platform had strong ambitions: to position itself as a modern HR and InsurTech solution that could unify employee management, insurance, payroll, leave workflows, and company operations into one seamless system. But it lacked clarity, market positioning, and a scalable product direction.

In a concentrated three-month engagement, I helped launch the product, provided full product consulting, conducted a comprehensive competitor analysis, performed a detailed P&L evaluation, and proposed a set of viable, revenue-aligned solutions. My work culminated in a clear and actionable Phase 2 roadmap, a blueprint for the technical team to build towards a stronger, more competitive product.

Consulting to Redefine Beneple HR’s Role in the Market

The first step was understanding where Beneple HR stood, both internally and externally. The existing product had a fragmented experience and lacked strategic positioning within a crowded HR SaaS space. To refine its direction, I led a full-scale competitor analysis, evaluating major HR platforms across the region and globally. I assessed their feature depth, pricing, unique value propositions, customer segments, onboarding flows, and technical differentiators.

This analysis highlighted exactly where Beneple HR needed to focus: integrated HR–insurance workflows, simplified employee self-service, clear admin controls, and operational automation that reduced HR overhead. The insights formed the basis of the new product strategy and helped me determine which features were viable, profitable, and aligned with Beneple’s market strengths.

Launching the Product and Stabilizing the Experience

During my engagement, I helped push Beneple HR to a public-ready state. The product required structural improvements, UX refinement, and cleaning up of existing workflows to ensure a smooth launch. I worked closely with the design and technical teams to clarify user journeys, fix inconsistencies, and refine the product experience across both the admin and employee interfaces.

This included stabilizing critical modules such as employee profiles, leave workflows, document handling, insurance data access, and company structures. The result was a more dependable and intuitive product experience that could serve as a foundation for future enhancements.

P&L Analysis and Identifying Viable, Revenue-Driven Solutions

To ensure the platform could scale commercially, I conducted a full P&L analysis. This helped uncover operational inefficiencies, feature gaps impacting revenue, and opportunities to improve margins. Through this work, I proposed viable product and business solutions that aligned with the financial realities of the platform.

The recommendations included monetizable feature enhancements, technical optimizations that reduced long-term costs, improvements to the billing structure, and opportunities to automate insurance workflows, one of Beneple’s strongest differentiators.

Planning the V2 Roadmap for the Technical Team

The most critical outcome of my consulting engagement was a comprehensive Phase 2 roadmap that gave structure and direction to the technical team. This roadmap outlined each feature enhancement, scalability requirement, and UX improvement that the next version of Beneple HR should prioritize.

It also included recommendations for:

  • workflow automation
  • deeper insurance integration
  • improved analytics and insights
  • employee onboarding enhancements
  • expanded payroll capabilities
  • stability and performance upgrades

This roadmap equipped the technical team with a clear path forward, ensuring efficient development cycles and future scalability.

Delivering a Stronger, More Competitive HR Product

By the end of the engagement, Beneple HR had not only launched but gained a defined market identity, a financially grounded product strategy, and a long-term technical direction. Through consulting, research, analysis, and hands-on refinement, I helped the team position Beneple HR to compete effectively in the HR SaaS market while leveraging its unique advantage in insurance integration.

Today, the product stands on a stronger foundation: clearer positioning, better user experience, structured scalability, and a roadmap designed for growth.
